Attention Please

The Wabasha County Sheriff's Department needs your help.

We have just added a new anonymous e-mail system to help us better server the County. In addition to the e-mail system we have installed a new toll free tip line as well, the number is 1-866-377-6111.

We are offering you an opportunity to tell us what's going on in your neighborhood. Together, we can solve a lot of the crimes that may be happening in your area. You could singlehandedly break up a burglary ring or have a hand in taking down a drug smuggling operation.

We want tips on everything you can think of, including: a car driving by a residence slow; people coming to your door and asking for directions and seeming real out of place; a car parked somewhere for an extended period of time; and just plain anything out of the ordinary.

We want tips on things that are going on in the cities of our County also. We will then give the information to the appropriate agency. We work very closely with the police departments within the county, and we consider ourselves one big department.

Please remember, no one is going to know what you send us, this system is completely anonymous and does not require you to provide us with any of your contact information. We guarantee that! We pride ourselves on our word here in the County. Also, we may not be able to do anything at the moment, such as a neighbor that might be into drugs, but continued information can often lead to arrests being made. It at least gives us a direction in which to look. Without the public's help, we would have a tough time surviving the fight we have against crime here in your County.

Thanks for your help,
Rodney L. Bartsh, Wabasha County Sheriff
