Meeting of April 8, 2008
The Board of County Commissioners of Wabasha County, Minnesota, convened in Special Session at the Wabasha County Services Building, in the City of Wabasha, Minnesota on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
The meeting (April 1, 2008) was reconvened and called to order by Board Chairman Riester. The following Commissioners were present: Windhorst, Dwelle, McNallan, Riester and Springer.

Whereas, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners has authorized a request for proposals regarding the categories listed below (Phase III) for the criminal justice center; and Whereas, the bid opening was held March 18, 2008; and
Whereas, Wabasha County's construction manager Construction Analysis and Management Inc. (CAM) has reviewed the bids and has made recommendations to the Board. Now Therefore
Be It Resolved by the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners that the following bids are awarded for Phase III of the Wabasha County criminal justice center project:

The deducts for Alternates 2a (fiber reinforcing (micro) in lieu of welded wire fabric) and 2b (fiber reinforcing (macro) in lieu of welded wire fabric) are approved and the add for Alternate 3 (solid surface countertops) is not approved. Contracts for Bid Categories 19 – Food Service Equipment, 20 – Courtroom Furniture, and 31 – Landscaping are rejected and will be reevaluated.
Be It Further Resolved that the Board Chair is authorized to sign and enter into a contract with the successful bidders as required in the request for proposal document.
