Agenda Item:

1. Call to order.

2. Approval of the agenda.

3. Approval of the minutes from the June 14, 2016 meeting.

4. Public Hearing:

• Application submitted by James Bartholome requesting a variance from Section 5, Subdivision 512 of the Wabasha County Feedlot Ordinance to allow for the construction of a new manure pit located less than 2,640’ from an incorporated municipality. The property on which the request is being made is described as parcel R01.00047.00 located in Section 5, Township 110 North, Range 14 West, Town of Chester (25432 County 16 Blvd., Goodhue, MN).

5. Close public hearing and move to the findings.

6. Take action as necessary on application.

7. Public Hearing:

• Application submitted by Hyde Park Holsteins, LLP requesting a variance from Section 5, Subdivision 512 of the Wabasha County Feedlot Ordinance to allow for the construction of two new barns that are located less than 300’ from a public road, less than 1000’ to an existing dwelling on an adjacent property, and less than 300’ to a wetland. The property on which the request is being made is described as parcel R07.00019.00 located in Section 4, Township 109 North, Range 13 West, Town of Hyde Park (35129 Hwy. 60, Zumbro Falls, MN).

8. Close public hearing and move to the findings.

9. Take action as necessary on application.

10. Public Hearing:

• Application submitted by Tim and Shari Bartlett requesting a variance from Chapter 394.36, Subd. 4 Minn. Stats. to allow for the expansion of a nonconforming structure. The property on which the request is being made is described as parcel R13.00234.00 located in Section 24, Township 111 North, Range 11 West, Town of Pepin (70563 206th Ave., Reads Landing, MN).

11. Close public hearing and move to the findings.

12. Take action as necessary on application.

13. Public Hearing:

• Application submitted by Alex Hagedorn requesting an after-the-fact variance from Chapter 11.02(7) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to allow for the placement of a driveway on a slope greater than 30%. The property on which the request is being made is described as parcel R16.00220.03 located in Section 28, Township 110 North, Range 12 West, Town of West Albany (29865 640th St., Millville, MN).

14. Close public hearing and move to the findings.

15. Take action as necessary on application.

16. Public Hearing:

• Application submitted by Dan Miller on behalf of Phifer Nicholson requesting a variance from Article 13, Section 9, Subd. 5 of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to allow for the impervious surfaces of a lot to exceed the allowable 25%. The property on which the request is being made is described as parcel R05.00741.00 located in Section 2, Township 110 North, Range 10 West, Town of Greenfield (67978 Cnty. Rd. 76, Wabasha MN).
