The
Wabasha County Administrator is appointed for an indefinite term by the
Board of Commissioners. The Administrator is the administrative head of
the County who is responsible for the overall management of County
operations, and for carrying out all of the policies, ordinances and
resolutions of the Board ofCommissioners.
The County
Administrator's duties include the preparation of the recommended
annual budget, preparation and implementation of the long-range capital
expenditure program, personnel management, payroll, and human resource
management programs which include compensation studies, employee
benefits, employee training and development, staffing and labor
relations. In addition, the Administrator serves as the official clerk
to the Board of Commissioners and in this role coordinates Board
meetings, prepares all agendas, distributes meeting materials, records
the official proceedings, and certifies copies of the Board resolutions
as requested.
