Wabasha County Court Services provides probation services for all juvenile and adult misdemeanor /gross misdemeanor offenders in Wabasha County pursuant to Minnesota Statute 244.19. This involvespreparing pre-dispositional reports to the Court prior to the offenders sentencing and then supervisingthe court ordered conditions for people placed on probation. This may include such things as monitoringa person's treatment program, collecting restitution, monitoring community work service hours, monitoringspecialized treatment such as sex offender or domestic abuse treatment and alcohol / chemical testing.An employee from the Minnesota Department of Corrections supervises people on probation for a felonylevel offense.
