Crisis Response Services
As of April 1, 2018, Minnesota’s suicide prevention and mental health crisis texting services are now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. People who text MN to 741741 will be connected to Crisis Text Line. Crisis Text Line handles 50,000 messages per month and over 20 million messages since 2013 from across the U.S., connecting people to local resources in their community. For callers who are the most in distress, average wait times for a response is only 39 seconds.

Crisis Response of Southeastern Minnesota has a Crisis Response line that provides 24/7 crisis phone support to children, with the permission of a parent/guardian, and adults. In addition, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center can deploy a mobile crisis team that can come to you.
Crisis Response of Southeastern Minnesota has multiple teams that cover 10 counties in the southeast corner of Minnesota. Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center provides qualified practitioners to assess the situation, help you reach a place of emotional and physical safety and ensure you have resources for long-term support in Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Waseca, Wabasha, and Winona counties.
The Crisis Response team has a variety of backgrounds in behavioral mental health and has the desire to empower people to increase independence and assist consumers to live happy successful lives in their desired community.
