Absentee voting starts Sept 18th, 2020

Eligible voters in Minnesota can begin voting absentee on Friday, September 18th, 2020 in person or by mail.
To receive an absentee ballot voters need to fill out an absentee ballot application and return it to the Auditor/Treasurer office in Wabasha, once the office receives the application your ballot will be mailed out to the voter .   Also voters can vote absentee by coming to the Auditor/Treasurer office at 625 Jefferson Ave, Wabasha and fill out the application at the office and vote in person that day.  November 3rd is election day and voters cannot come in to absentee vote but will have to vote at their respective polling place that day.

There are different options to return your absentee ballot.
     1. Voters can come in and vote absentee in person
     2. Voters can bring the ballot to the Auditor/Treasurer office during the hours of 8-4
     3. There is a drop box in front of building being monitiered by camera- VOTERS CAN ONLY DROP OFF THEIR OWN BALLOT
     4. Voters can have an agent drop off their ballot to the Auditor/Treasurer office in which the agent will have to sign a sheet stating they are dropping off a ballot for you
